Rethinking

If I were to adda picture to this post it would have to be one of a wheelie bin. Because that is where three pieces of work in progress ended up today!
Do you ever find yourself being constantly pulled to creating something that you know you just don't have the skill to produce?
I am like this with 3d work. I have all sorts of fantastic ideas but the reality is - I am a 2d person. It's just the way I work best, a nice flat surface that won't budge no matter what I apply to it.
So I am now three pieces down. What next? It's interesting that I have spent years trying to establish my own 'stlye' of working and now I have, I seem to be spending all my time trying to create work that shows I can do more than just my 'style'.
